Dale Boatbuilders is well known in the Bay of Plenty area and is Taupo’s longest established boatbuilders, specialising in repairs and maintenance and refits of pleasure boats and RVs. Our client base reaches across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and down through the Hawkes Bay region.
Due to steady growth, we have a position available for a full-time member of staff.
The applicant will need the following –
Woodworking skills
• Some mechanical knowledge
• Some fibre glassing skills – although training will be given
• Must be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Be drug and alcohol-free
• An interest in water sports would be desirable
Work will include
• General fibreglass repairs and fabrication
• Boat repairs, alterations and maintenance (wood and fibreglass)
• Joinery work
• Some electrical wiring
• Installation of equipment
• Motorhome and caravan repairs
• Grooming
Training in these areas could be offered to the right applicant.
