The NZ Marine and Composites Industry Training Organisation (NZMAC ITO) has led the review for the marine and composite sectors.
The qualification development is complete and these qualifications are intended to help New Zealand learners, employers, and marine and composite industries build skills, careers, and businesses.

What next?
In 2016 NZMAC ITO will develop programmes of industry training, revise unit standards, and develop relevant resources.
Process for Qualification and Programmes of Industry Training (PITs) Development Overview
NZMAC ITO will be calling for expressions of interest from the marine and composite sectors to provide experience and guidance in the content and assessment of the graduate outcomes of these qualifications.
